Romper145: what kind of music do you like?
SmarterChild: I like lots of music. Especially Incubus, Radiohead, Good Charlotte...
Romper145: good charlotte sucks
SmarterChild: No way!

STOP LISTENING TO GOOD CHARLOTTE PEOPLE

imagine my surprise when...

Romper145: lalala
SmarterChild: Fly me to the moon, da da dee doo bee doo bee doo...

so im back...home that is and i find it amazing how the dynamics of my life change so dramatically once im home. we all know that the past decade or so of our lives have been a blur, but every single time i come back home...it seems as if nothing has changed.

i sit in my room, and i cant help but to be reminded of my high school days. every single damn thing that i did in high school comes rushing back to me, and for a moment it really feels like i never left. its kinda like those movies when the adult goes back to their parents home...walks back into their old room, and then next thing you know its some cheesy flashback where the adult is now a kid, sitting on the lap of a younger parent from days long gone talking about sex and "bad boys" the night before prom.

every single memory. thats right...all of them, rushing back to me. the funny thing is my memories arent just about my high school days...but also of the past couple of summers.

i dont know about you faithful reader...but to me its a fascinating phenomenan. we all talk about how much we've changed since we've last seen one another...but the true test lies in how different you act once you return to familiar surroundings. are you REALLY the newly changed person you were talking to me about online?

i cant explain it...i wish i could. the only thing that i really do know is that i wish that i could get my childhood back. being home and being able to spend time with my parents is awesome, and i just wish i didnt spend so much of my earlier years fucking around and making things difficult for them, but then again thats just the pure beauty of maturity coupled with hindsight.

the memories.

so many fucking memories

its beautiful isnt it?
